Do you ever make a smoothie, but wish it were a muffin? Me too! This is my Blueberry “Muffin” smoothie recipe! 😆
No, it doesn’t really taste like a muffin, but it does have a nice cinnamon-y, oat-y comforting flavor, which is good enough for me!

Blueberry Muffin Smoothies Recipe
Blueberry Muffin Smoothies
If your bananas or blueberries aren’t frozen, you can add a bit of ice to bring in the chill! I prefer frozen fruit to ice because the texture of the smoothie is thicker and finer, and the flavor is richer. It’s also a great way to preserve fruit that’s a bit past its prime-- throw it in the freezer and blend it later!
Servings: 2 Smoothies
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp uncooked oats
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1/2 tsp agave nectar or maple syrup
- 1 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups almond milk or other nut milk
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Allow to blend a bit longer than you might usually to get those oats well incorporated! Enjoy right away.
