Making these sweet and spicy almonds is easier than purchasing more than you planned on at Target! (And I can say this first hand because I’ve done both in the past 24 hours!)
Take them to a party, give them as gifts, or eat them all yourself💕
✨In a medium bowl, whisk together 4+1/2 tbsp sugar, 1+1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp cayenne.
✨In a large, non-stick pan over medium heat, add 1+1/2 tsp olive oil, 3 tsp honey, and 3 tsp water and bring to a simmer. Add 3 cups almonds (or any pecans!) and stir to coat evenly.
✨Pour the almonds into the bowl with the sugar mixture and toss to coat.
Spread in an even layer on a baking sheet to cool, and enjoy!
